i'm sure i can find 'clean' pix of just wheels if that helps

i think the one pix is a front wheel off a early magna but no one else has confirmed it

that wheel was also on the last year cx650 series and prob other models

if i'm correct then other year/model magna wheels will work as well as prob sabre wheels, fronts anyway

I have an 18" back on my Hybrid 77. It helps with rpm a little, but it's hard to find anyone who makes 90 height tires any more. I currently have a 140/80/18 and it is really no bigger than a 130/90/18 which is stock. I would love to find a 150/90/18. I think it would fit because the swing arm is actually bigger in that direction rather than smaller as when trying to fit a 140/90/16. The only ones I've seen are off-road treads.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

I'm getting ready to have a rear Lester and front 83 mag wheel powdercoated...

The Lester has a small area along the edge of the rim that is mildly pitted...

Image

1. How should that be repaired before powdercoating? ie JB weld, liquid metal, aluminum welded?....

2. What preparation should be done by me before taking the wheels to the powdercoater?
(remove valve stems and wheel bearings or leave them in and replace them afterwards etc...)...

this thread has included non goldwing wheels that fit, or be made to work on original goldwing front forks/yokes,

i'm aware of 3-4 diff front fork or fork/yoke swaps that then can include another make wheel on a wing

maybe should be a separate thread ~ 'front ends (options)'?

a new thread? or here?
