Okay, it's now my turn in the Popcorn machine. ;)

Keeping the 1100 clutch basket, have the EBC clutch frictions and the replacement springs. Sunny is putting together the Red Cross package, and I have a Shindy master cylinder on order. All that's left is to order (or make) the lines to connect it all. :orange

There will be pictures taken. I'm just not sure when I'll begin. It has to be done and proven before July. :8)

The Shindy master cylinder is in, Sunny's kit is in, I have the clutch pack, all that's needed is the hydraulic hoses/line.

OEM line/hose parts are no longer in stock through Bike Bandit or anywhere else "new".

I would use braided stainless on that too. I make my own so there is no problem with having them in stock.

Sunbob, are you still selling the covers and pushrods? I've got '75 I'd like to convert. I've already overhauled the engine and before I put it back into the frame this would be a good conversion to do. Ellis

Just finished the conversion on my '76. Well worth it in my book, as now I can get to Neutral with the engine running 9(no amount of adjustment nor a new cable allowed for this before). Feel is slightly better than with the cable, however, I believe one could adjust the force using a different bore master cylinder to adjust pressure/flow. Friction point is about 1/2 travel, and is now self adjusting (love hydraulics....)

One word about the '84 cover vs later models. Very true that the 84 cover is the only one to fit. Purchased a (supposed) 84 cover off Fleabay and the pattern was wrong (no kidding right) Top three bolt holes do NOT line up, all others will just fine. Ill post pics later one on top of another to show the difference VERY clearly.

Got lucky and a local yard had an 84 (as evidenced by the finned stator cover) and now all is right with the world.

The final addition to this thread..

Master cylinder. I have been coupling the clutch conversion with the Honda VFR series master cylinders. The VFR series also has a matching brake MC that is 14mm. You can have matching Master cylinders with better braking!

Hydraulic line. Best option is a 60" braided Stainless line with female -3AN fittings on each end. 60" will fit most all applications. It is easy to be creative with routing since you are dealing with a hydraulic line. I found 48" worked perfectly for flat bars.

Fittings. Fit an -3AN male to 10mm 1.25 male adapter directly into the hydraulic inlet on the slave cylinder. No need for a banjo. On the MC end, Attache an -3AN male to 10mm banjo to the line, then attach the banjo to the MC with a 10mm 1.25 banjo bolt.

Hey I did this conversion and I love it but my master cylinder from the 83 donor bike is no good. Where can I find a new clutch master cylinder for 7/8 bars? the VFR 750 would be a good one but I cannot find new

Do you still have the clutch parts for sale?
