I'm going through the pile of garbage stuff in the garage, trying to trim it down a bit, and was curious if there was any interest at all in an early GL1000 horse collar muffler with some caveats? The actual muffler is solid, and while the chrome tips and shields are passable, most of the roughest bits are on the underside and not really visible.
The kicker is that while removing the mounting brackets, I managed to spin both studs off of the right hand side. There's a bit of a nub left, so the muffler itself is still solid, but it's very much NOT a bolt-and-go situation.
I hate to scrap a perfectly serviceable 1000 muffler, so I'm curious if there's any interest is a slightly-DIY horse collar.
