Starting up one of my old engines

Post by dontwantapickle »

.....after talking about this engine on another forum, last week I made a clip starting it.
Thought that maybe some of you here might dig seeing it.

I did dig! tumb2

Our eldest son inherited a government Standard Engine this past summer that I briefly looked at during a family get together at his home.

I'd never seen anything like it. Not as easily recognizable as the twin opposed cylinder ONAN engines. Almost completely shrouded and a lot of 'what's this?' kinda stuff.
Don't recall whether I ever discovered the name of the manufacturer then, or not.

Keep your eyes and ears open and you'll learn something new, everyday. tumb2
