Moving Day

#1

Post by desertrefugee »

Moving weekend actually.

This will be the last move, I swear! But I needed to get back into a space that I could breathe in and get serious with a few projects while I’m still of sound mind and body. Not sure about the mind part...

So what do you think the first things any self respecting motorhead would move first? Bikes, parts, tools!

It’s going to be a long weekend – and I’m already sore!

A/C in the shop! There’s also a small structure behind the shop with electricity. My son recently picked up a powder coating rig, sandblast unit and a large oven. He wants to set up an “operation”. I might be the first guinea pig.

More to come. Catching a breather at the moment…

dude, I SO feel your pain. I swore up, down & sideways our last move nine years ago would be our last but with the way prices are headed up here, whew!

at first glance it looks similar to Dan Tanna's place in the old TV show Vega$... garage door into the living space & I see what look like kitchen cabinets in the background.

I wish you luck, perserverance & fortitude.

Visiting Sonya's family here in Ottawa. Her nephew and niece are building new homes. The nephew has a 1600 sq ft garage attached as part of the design and structure. His wife is a little miffed but will get tribute when the house is completed. Her niece's husband has two areas that equal about 1500 sq ft of their 4500 sq ft home. One area for the cars and one for the snowmobiles, also part of the design. Should have taken pictures, but I did not want to be reminded that only have half of a two car garage. anim-cheers1

Good luck with the move, said to be one of the most stressful things you do in life, after upsetting SWMBO!
