Big Boy Engine 4014 came to town today

It's been all over the news that this engine has been on tour. Today it traveled north along the Mississippi allowing thousands to take pictures and videos as it rolled along. Videos are probably too large to post but I will try.

Would love to see it in person one day. It came as close to me as Chicago a number of years ago, but I had no idea it was there and completely missed it. Was lucky enough to see the 765 out of Fort Wayne IN and Pere Marquette 1225 up in Michigan, and the 611 back in the 90s when it did excursions, but can only imagine what the Big Boy would be like.
1997 Valkyrie- Light Cutomization, but Too Busy Riding
1980 KZ1300- Bike's Haunted
1976 GL1000 (Yellow)- It Runs (Poorly) and Doesn't Leak (Mostly)
1974 Velosolex 3800- Better Than Walking
1972 CB750- Broke the Chain And Ate the Motor
1969 CT90- The Most Fun You Can Have on 90ccs.
1965 CA77 Dream- Needs a Full Teardown, but Complete

All advice I give is only valid until an expert corrects me.

Had to fix the attachments. An extra one snuck in while I was adding the attachment. The extra video was a local low life that was stealing my lawnmower and the battery from one of my bikes. I would sure like to catch up wit him.

I live in Cheyenne where this Union Pacific train is based and also where it was restored over a period of years. Another Big Boy has been on display in one of our parks for many years and Union Pacific has also maintained this one. Seems like every time I drive by the train, someone is having their picture taken next to it. You get a better appreciation for just how big it is when you get near it.

Thank you Union Pacific for keeping this part of history alive for all of us to see.

4014 goes on tour again in 2024, so don't miss it.
