Brilliant. I used to drill a 1/16th dia. hole in the bottom of the carburetor and in the top of the broken off float post, then press together with a 1/16th inch roll pin. It worked, but this looks much easier. Nice design...and simple.

Of the better repairs out there, this one can quite simply save a good carburetor with both posts damaged. It is the quickest way to get your ride back on the road.

Brilliant design ! Wish it was around a couple of years ago when I had to chase down an alternate carb body because of a broken float post. I didn't trust my ham-handed self to be able to do the other Randakk fix at the time.
