Mikee Minute #3 -- Care removing float bowls

#1

Post by mikenixon »

Be careful when removing your GL1100 carbs' float bowls. It is often necessary to rap on them with a tiny hammer or the handle end of a screwdriver, but be careful. It is not uncommon for one or both of the bowl's registering nubs to snap if you tap too hard. Word to the wise.

Hard to tell. I would have to see the bottom. If the pictrue wee clearer...is that a broken off standpipe or just the casting boss?

Cool! If you're going to pick on my picture, you should point out that I obviously forgot to check the white balance before taking the pix. :-)
