Good morning Naked friends. Here are a couple of pictures of my new project bike. This neglected bike was rescued from a collection in upstate NY. I'll post pictures along the way.

She is 90% intact but condition/status of engine and carbs is a total unknown. However, I do know that she turns over. $250 to find out. I'll keep you posted.

Nice find! Brillo pads will do a surprisingly real good job on that rusty chrome. Check the plastic caps on the carbs too, make sure they're not lifting; little fissures can be hard to see. How's the crank look?? Any more triage pics? Like Rodger said, we love pics...

So Rodger, I am a little unclear......When you say..."Start a thread"...isn't that what my post has done? Or, is there something else I need to do?

Update photos. I had already removed the back end to get at the gas tank so the job of pulling the wiring harness was half done. The bike previously had a fairing mounted so the harness had been cut into for that. With the harness on the bench, it will be easier to make fresh splices. Everything in and around the timing belts looks sound and new belts have been ordered. The water pump is bakelite but has no extra play in it. Would you leave it or swap it out?
