My 83 Aspencade update
Good evening y’all. I just wanted to show some pics and give a small update on my 83 Aspencade project. When I got the bike I was told it was in running order. That was not the case, but for $600 I haven’t put much into it. The bike came with new tires, belts, and the bags off of it already. So I had a head start. I have been working on it when I can in between my 3 jobs. I have enjoyed working on this bike. I can’t wait to get her on the road. I’ve added some photos of the process and what I have been doing. The brakes all work, the front suspension has a manual fill valve on it, the main fuse has been swapped for a blade type fuse, the rear shocks have been replaced, and a bunch more.

Looking great! I swear that windscreen is twice as tall as my '81's, lol. One could probably use it as a toboggan!

Re: My 83 Aspencade update
Apparently the owner before the previous owner was like 6’7 or something like that. I really wonder what the drop in MPG would be with the added resistance.Track T 2411 wrote:Looking great! I swear that windscreen is twice as tall as my '81's, lol. One could probably use it as a toboggan!
