Right on! Congratulations. The body work that gets the faux tank to flow into the side panels gives it a from-the-factory look.

1979 GL1000 - Confirmed one owner, with original paperwork. Vetter fairing and bags, off the road in dry, heated storage for 35 years.

Nice build. 1200's seem to have been forgotten. I have been riding my 1200 since 2008.
