you'r a good man. You save an old wing from falling apart on the roadside. And you do it just in the right time. the technique still seems to be in good shape. I'm curious how she looks when your work is done.
Have fun and a save journey

Greetings

It was a Vetter Terraplane side car, that was the only thing the previous owner wanted from the bike then he was putting it out to die. Happy to pick it up and it has been a great project so far.

The bike is done and I have had the chance to put a few miles on it this spring. I love the way it rides and it seems to fall right in line at 3500-4500rpm. Took a 200 mile ride thru Amish country in northeastern Ohio and had a wonderful time.

Beautiful color. You have maintained the lines and made them pop. If it rides as well as it looks it's pushing perfect.
Goldwings don't accelerate, they gain inertia.

1978 GL1000 - almost stock - needs a head replaced, parts are ready to install!
1979 GL1000 - Winter project/parts bike - custom "Busted"
1983 GL1100 Standard- raised from the dead and back to organ donor status
And the newest acquisition, 1979 XS 650F to be a sidecar tug. crossy.gif

Great looking ride. Time for you to move on to your next project, so since you are out of space just let me know when I can pick this one up LOL.

All the work I’m doing on mine... I should have just done what you have done. It may turn to that yet... :)

Curious about the Delkevic exhaust. Did adding it cause any jetting problems? Betting it sounds sweet. Nice work on the bike.
