This last weekend DesertRefugee put the carbs back on (I watched :-D ) There's not much left to do, unfortunately once February hits my life is completely consumed with taxes. This Saturday I'm loading it on the trailer and taking it to my mechanic who's going to button it up and bring it back. It's been a lot of fun. I wish I could have brought it across the finish line but I just don't want to wait until the end of April. I'll post a completion pic when it's finished.

 By calling it supervising I would be implying that I have more technical skills than Desertrefugee, and that just isn't the case! But I certainly learned a lot by "watching" him.

I’m just an old redneck hack from way back. Shadetree I think is the term.

I enjoyed getting a chance to work on the fabled LTD. And a prime specimen to boot! It’s amazing all the little nooks and crannies where Honda applied chrome to otherwise pedestrian bits and pieces.

Still don’t think you need to put that thing on a trailer to get it finished up! It’s all downhill from here. Then again there’s the time factor… boy do I understand that.

I'd take you up on that but Virginia and Canada aren't exactly a hop, skip and jump from Arizona.

Come on down! Arizona has some beautiful roads. Not quite as good as Colorado but still loads of fun.

What a thrill it would be to ride with that group of rascals.

Maybe we should set up an ambush for Whiskerfish as he passes through...
