Absolutely fantastic job - just beautiful! Wherever you take that baby, people are going to ask if it's brand new.

Just noticed that you're from S. Maine - a neighbor. We'll have to meet up for a GL ride.

Congrats on a very fine restoration.

Great looking restoration and colour on the bike, certainly must feel good to have that project finished after 10 years of work. Excellent candidate for a future BOTM.
Current Bikes:

1966 CL77 - Honda 305cc - Dual purpose - "Gentleman's Scrambler" was a period moniker.
1967 CL175K0 - Low production number with #802 engine serial- winter 2019/2020 full restoration.
1972 CB350F - Baby Four with low mileage - Cosmetic refresh to the next level 2021/2022.
1978 CB550K - Very original bike with only 7499 Km. from new - light cleanup and refresh done.
1983 CB1100F - Canadian model - DOHC Supersport in pristine low kilometre condition from new.
1984 GL1200 - Standard model in showroom condition - two owner bike from new.
1984 CX650E - Restored summer 2017 - a rare Eurosport model - excellent one owner bike.

You guys are most kind. I certainly couldn't have accomplished it without the expertise from many of the members of this forum. I know I have bugged a lot of you and asked lots of questions. There is so much expertise from the members here it's phenomenal. There were several times when I just wanted to give up on it and sell it for parts but I guess my stubbornness prevailed!

Beautiful restoration! A lot of hard work went into this and it shows. Thanks for sharing.

Looks great. If it runs as well, you've got some miles ahead of you. Good work!
Goldwings don't accelerate, they gain inertia.

1978 GL1000 - almost stock - needs a head replaced, parts are ready to install!
1979 GL1000 - Winter project/parts bike - custom "Busted"
1983 GL1100 Standard- raised from the dead and back to organ donor status
And the newest acquisition, 1979 XS 650F to be a sidecar tug. crossy.gif
