Nice bike and nice pictures too. I may be mistaken, but a couple of weeks ago you had 2 of these seats for sale? Why not use one on this?

I have just joined NGW. Recently, I acquired a 1976 GL1000 LTD like yours. Mine too has been neglected but has not suffered as much as yours. Mine also has black guages and I wasn't sure they were the correct ones until I saw that your are as well. Thanks for posting. I will also start a "restorations" page as soon as the system allows. Apparently, I can't post any photos until I have a minimum number of posts. I am not far from you down the Thruway in upstate NY.
