Awesome stuff
If there is one thing I have learned throughout this process it is this: Check your respirator for spiders before you put it on.

I was thinking of painting my bike as well. What did you use to paint? I was gonna try my luck with rattle cans... tips and tricks always appreciated :)

Hi, I chose a spray gun and compressor to get it right. I don't get along with rattle cans, I get runds and can't get an even result. I already had a compressor that could do the job. Spray guns are cheap, $20 maybe. Don't go much over that and you get a gun that does the job. I believe that, moneywise, you will save money with spray gun and paint for that. If you have a compressor or can borrow one. A cheap party tent and some plastic sheat makes a good paint booth. You probably don't have temperatures like 20-30 below zero for five months in the winter so you can have your paint booth outside.
I used Standox paint from a local vendor. Not shure about the colour match since my was repainted. Backside of the panels and wet sanding gave me something to follow in the quest for the right colour. I used the honda paint on the picture, calypso blue with three layers of clear.

Good luck!

Thank you, looking forward too!

I've booked MOT april 28. But we still have five feet of snow left and another foot on its way down during the night. Last year spring was a month earlier and I drove in the end of march.

I hope it stops snowing for you to ride your bike!

Thenk you!

Today we have a few degrees above zero and snow melting on the roof. Perfect weather and snow conditions to get stuck with the snowmobile. We got tried that a few times today both in the forest and on the sea. Lots of water above the ice under the snow. Me, four kids and a shovel. Three hours to go 10km in to town and back.

And when they're stuck in the slush, the track and suspension fills with slush, about 300 additional pounds.

I think I just talked myself into selling my snowmobile......

Carbs back on the bike. Starts up and runs beautiful but still leaks like crazy. More gaskets, o-rings, need to replaced. O-rings between each carb and plenum seemes to be dried out. I had the big 60x2.1mm o-ring in a carb kit but the smaller ones, 9x3mm? is not listed as a part. Can only be found in some carb kits. I'm going to visit my local o-ring dealer this afternoon to get it sorted. Does anyone have the exact measurments for the smaller fuel tube oring?
