Received my Dyna S today, the supplied ballast resistor to use with the stock 2 ohms coils is about 1.2 ohms.
So the dyna S can be loaded with only 2 ohms when cranking, that's what I was not sure about . . .

Looks like a pretty close fit! It will be interesting to see how it works out. Does it provide more clearance?

Yes, more clearance behind the fan, the motor is flat.
And I think just a little bending needed to make the lugs fit.
I measured the currents for the 2 fans, 2 A for the OEM and 2.3 A for the 636

I like what you're doing with that bike, great job.

I love all the photos, especially those that show the landscape, houses, and trees of your country.

Thanks for posting them.

Not much time to spend on the bike, just preparing the hardness of a CBR600 2003-2006 regulator. Thanks to this forum where I found the advices about that improvement !

As it is a low-cost one (about 20 €), I installed a voltmeter / usb for GPS to keep an eye upon the voltage supplied by the regulator . . .

For the moment, a good 14V on the battery terminals, instead of 15 v often before

Trying to attach the fan on the radiator by drilling/bending the CBR lugs
WP_20180417_001.jpg
WP_20180417_001.jpg (106.02 KiB) Viewed 236 times
Gap between the fan and the radiator fins : about 10 mm
WP_20180417_006.jpg
WP_20180417_006.jpg (122.83 KiB) Viewed 236 times
These 10mm are too much at the bottom of the fan, it touches the belts cover
So modification of the lugs :
WP_20180417_009.jpg
WP_20180417_009.jpg (107.92 KiB) Viewed 236 times
Made static heating and it cools correctly.
And the next time I get the radiator out the frame, welding of the final lugs, with the fan also closer at the top of the radiator

I am not normally a fan of red accents on motorcycles, but I must say that yours is VERY tastefully executed and compliments the overall design layout of the bike extremely well. Most importantly - not overdone. I like it a lot. Enjoy that fine machine!

Thanks for the compliments !
The red touchs belong to the PO, but I think for a future repainting of the whole bike, I'll keep these touchs, but uniformized (there is dark red, orange, red, not very unified . . .)
