It certainly is, but there again, every country has it's fair share of stunning scenery if you know where to go.

1985 GL650 Silverwing another mistake, horrible bike
1986 CBX550 Good commuter
1989 Suzuki GS750 (1976) cheap and cheerful until a dog ran out in front of me on Xmas Eve, 1991
Current bikes

1980 GL1100 NOW ON THE ROAD, still use CB1300.

Some news, 1500 kms since engine rebuilt, and all is fine, No noise reappearing, I hope my rod bearing repair will last for a few more thousands kms . . . (I shimmed the rod bearing).
In great curves, woobles begins at 100mph :-? :) . I pushed it till 110mph on a straight road but pretty scary giveup
I have to find more quiet friends to ride with . . .

Great to hear you are still going! If everything else is good on the bike for steering, perhaps a steering brace would be a good inventment?

Yes, surely. But these speeds are not confortable with this grand ma, I'd rather stay beyond theses and ride more quietly in the future . . . lolol
