Re: Martian...another Alberta winter
Kept searching online I knew what i wanted, just couldnt find,, the ones that i found were all stateside and in really rough shape. most wanted $400 American, that would put them in the $800 range with exchange shipping and a hit at the border.
Finally found a set online, in Alberta 45 year old Wixoms
$200 Cdn, 14 hours on the road and $160 in fuel and not destroyed in shipping, was gonna have shipped but every package you get up here looks destroyed, So i made 7 hr down and 1400 klm return run on a sunday Chris was a happy guy

Nice! I think the lines of the bags will compliment the rear fender nicely.

Re: Martian...another Alberta winter
Its taken some trial and error. Mounts were to high. Made some mods. Im at a 4 inch drop and have them pushed back now. Then came stripping bags....tried sand and coat. Old paint curdled so took them down to gel.
Just finishing remounting and alignment this weekend. Pretty happy.
Top of the bags are above knee
Then into the paint shed...also bike shed...lolJust finishing remounting and alignment this weekend. Pretty happy.
