Looks really clean. You're shaming me into moving my tail on my Weber conversion. I have the carbs now configured and "most" of the linkage bits. Just need to paint my intakes and get after tuning it. I have been lazy, but your build truly is helping motivate me. Good stuff.

Looks great.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Definitely has personality now. I like the look. I've just completed my Weber conversion, but the '78 shelter covers really limit filter options. I've got to come up with something, but I don't think it will be as radical as your solution!

That would be White Trash, most likely. Greg's bike. One of the earlier trail blazers in the Weber conversion.

Do you have, the linkage made? I have seen a couple of ways to address the carb. Linkage. I still haven't set up the carbs, or linkage. I thought of using the Bell crank from the oem carbs, or Randaaks method. I have the new model 70 carbs.. Hope I don't have to open them up

I totally went through my carbs. Glad I did. There were bits missing: one pump spring and an exhaust valve!

I started to go with an OEM bellcrank, but would still have needed a couple of the bits suggested by Randakk's method. I had another pivot that I tried, but found the same thing. In the end, it became obvious to me that his method really is about as straightforward as it gets. That's what I did.

I've cleaned it up and added an additional weak return spring since this shot:
