1975 gl1000. 78 faux tank. texavina seat (it is too low so am getting a slightly higher one made), 21" front, 18" rear - plan a 4" wide rear with a 150 wide tyre.
Lowered 2.5". Fenders coming. plan to pay homage to 70s era honda in indicators, tail lights. also planning lower bars, and a triple headlight ala harley davidson, probably in black.
the black in picture is a vinyl wrap that will need to be redone.

Is that rear fender mounted to the swing arm? I like the look a lot! But being that low I suspect the rideability has been pretty severely compromised? One of my first builds I dropped down a lot and while it fit me beautifully (short guy) I could barely turn into my driveway without scraping something and got tired of it quickly.

I agree. It looks fantastic, but won't be very rideable.

I really like the stance and the rim changes. Makes a big difference. There has to be a bit of a compromise to make her ride able, but it does look sweet.

Thanks all. Yes I might raise it half to an inch eventually. I'll post more as it has more progress.
It has 11" shocks. I had a real hard time finding suitable shocks in 12". Any one with a link to a 12" set would be much appreciated.

I originally had 290mm shocks (~11.4") on my '78. They were too low and severely compromised cornering ability. And that's with the '78 headpipe which is angled more and allowed the Sportster mufflers to be turned up. I went to 12" and it made a big difference although I still need to back off some in tight twisties. But, that's OK, I'll probably live longer.
