I've been finding all my parts pretty easily on the restore. Still grinding, replacing, painting, etc. I have been looking for a chart (of some sort) that shows the pin striping options for the 1983 GL1100 naked GoldWing. I got back all the 'tins' from the painter and its a beautiful high gloss black. I have seen silver/white pinstripe, but thats it. Has anyone seen other color combinations? I'm looking for original colors only. I may end up with the Silver/White but wanted to know if there were other time period colors.
Any help is appreciated!

My 83 Aspencade had two gold stripes but I think that was unique to the red bikes.

Thanks Easter, yep, not sure what I'm going to do, may just leave it gloss black. In your restores, have you ever had to repaint the motor that 'flat grey'? I have the carbs off and wanted to paint the block under them, but not sure of the color match. The more I take it apart....the more I take it apart...someday I will get it back together!

Duplicolor makes an engine primer and paint that is fuel and heat resistant that is a close match. I am using some now on my 76 project .

Another pict of the deconstruction. Taking it apart seems to be the easy part. Can't wait to get to putting it back together. I have many NOS parts to go on, plus all the tins are back from the painter. Keeping track of the part is going to be a challenge when I go to put it back together. I have a service manual with the expanded pictures so that should help.
