If nothing else, mask off parts you don't want painted, put it up on a chunk of cardboard, and spray bomb it. Once it is dry, pop it off the stand, put on side stand, and holding the center stand away from muffler that is still masked, and hit it again. :-D

So glad she enjoys the backrest...I was more than happy to help you out!

Yepp. I will do that later on with the center stand.

Had to buy new shocks. Grrrr. They do not hold the preassure, and the spring bottoms when sandra is riding with me. Bought Hagon shocks from the UK. Not air, but do not want to pay dubble just to get the air :)
Mine is rusty outside, so fix them up with new seals and springs... Njeee.. Not.

Other than that, the bike is the best ever!! Happy to have one. :)

Best regards

Some "new" pics of my allmost finished GL1100.

Mounted the 2$ saddle bags this summer. :-D But after that, I have only been driven it for 300 miles this year. Been working in a motorcycle store, selling clothes and stuffs. And, the weather has been awful this summer.
Rear caliper got stuck. have to fix it this winter. Going to renovate all the calipers.

New King and Queen saddle mounted to. Saddlemen. Great comfort!! And Hagon rear shocks.

In post 36 you mentioned a knocking sound from the clutch basket side. what was the cause of that?

"Wingrider"
Thank Nate! Have not been active on this forum as much as i wanted. :) Yepp. It´s fine with me and my whife. She has only had two hard periods this year with seizures. Other than that everything is OK. Hope you have had a great year to. :)

"Track T 2411"
Thank you! Hopefully i will have the brakes done before next season. You know. Sweden is not a Bike country :) Cold, rain and snow all year long. ;) No. Not that hard, but allmost. :P

"raiddrten"
The rattle and knocking is only when the engine is cold, and if the idle is under 800. They told me that the rattle is from the "PRIMARY DRIVE CHAIN" And if the idle gets to low, the chain starts to rattle and gives a knocking sound.

Yes it is Nate :) :)

But, if i shall be honest. I don´t really like a 1500 with all the "bling bling" and stuff they normally put on these bikes. An eagle on the front fender?? What?? :IDTS:

But! There is a but. action1 On this bike it does not actually looks to bad at all. Don´t know why, but i think it is because the bike is in pearl white, that makes all this bling and eagles and skirts and..... the list is loooooong. :-D A little bit not TO much. It like comes together with the rest of the bike in some sort of way.

Sandra is ok with the thought of buing it, but not jumping around happy as. :P And she will ride like a queen on it. Me to of course, but more like a king then. ;)

Will se. have to find the rest of the money for it first. Maybe in July or august.

Ha ha! One thing you will find, and seem to know is that Wing owners tend to add farkles to their ride...some are way worse than others! Most of it can be taken off without issue. :-D
