Changing the pads will be a job for later this summer. I just want to have a complete bike that runs at this time.
But thanks for reminding me to put it on my list of to dos.

How can it overflow if the cap is screwed to the brake fluid reservoir? Should I unscrew it when I push on the pistons to relieve pression?

Cheers

I would make sure there was room in the reservoir for any extra fluid that is pushed back...and remove the cap, just to make it a little easier

I took the time to paint my front wheel with black plasti dip and I have to say I love it.
With the discs and calipers cleaned, I think it looks agressive. Too bad I have to put some kind of fender to be road legal because I love that naked look.

I saw that one of the discs was a bit warped...It will stay that way for a while. I'll probably rebuild the front brake next winter anyway.

Now off to the back wheel...

Looks good! That's what I used to finish the wheels on my Shadow...three years on, it still looks great (no peeling, nicks, etc). Seems to be surprisingly durable for what it is...thinking I'll probably do the wheels on the Wing the same way, though I'm still debating what color to use.

That sums it up pretty well :). Black and motorcycles always go together...I love red, and you can't go wrong with black on a bike. I already have a black motorcycle though, and two red cars, so I'm doing something a bit different with the Wing. I'm going to be going with kind of a theme with my bike when the time comes, and the wheels could easily be one of three different colors and look great...decisions, decisions :).

That looks phenomenal! I am struggling to paint the crash bars on my bike. One side came out well, but even after three tries, the other side...not so much. But after seeing your wheel, I might just strip the paint off (again!) and try the Plasti-Dip tumb2

I took the back wheel off last night.
Not too complicated to do.
There is only the bolt that hold the right rear shock that was supposed to stay in the final drive, at least that's what I saw in the explanations I had. But it does not change anything, I will just screw it back in with the shock.

The new tire is already mounted. I will pick it up at noon. Hopefully I will install it back tomorrow.
I will install my new rear disc and new pads at the same time.

I will receive Sinto Racing Moly 2 grease and 75w90 from a friend who is a sales rep there. They do stuff for high performance machines, so it should do the trick.

Cheers

Back wheel is blackend and reinstalled.
I also installed a new rear disc and new pads.

I'm happy with the results! It looks more and more like a motorcycle.

The new handlebars are installed, the good way, with holes for the module's inserts.

I'm now in the process of changing throttle cables and its no fun. There is no place to work back there!!
