Just returned with another '84 Std I picked up for $200....

OK, so that's what it will look like in the distant future.

Here's what I brought back today.

Back in the day, someone wanted an Interstate instead, so missing almost all the important Std pieces: faux tank, smaller black plastic side covers, rear fender, etc. etc.

The good thing is I have a FL title for it and it's an early one.

What parts are there are pretty crusty.

Under all that blue, is the original color.
So, someday, this will be the third Wineberry to join the fleet.

Guess after many hens' teeth part purchases, I'm sure it will be a $2000+ bike cost.

Some parts I might make myself. We'll see. Too many other projects in the line up for now.

True, but it did come with the used (maybe original Honda) belts.

One thing I just found interesting after having a couple Standards,
is the headlight housing is very close to the early 'wing models.

You could probably sell them there "Vintage/Rare" belts on E-Bay. . Still a good find from what I see. Do you know why the PO pulled the head off. ?

PO bought it as parts also, but had water in one cylinder.

Cool idea on the belt sale, seen 'em listed before for a decent price. :2cool

Just can't bring myself to do that to another Wing.
