Thanks!

The weather & my procrastination have me about a month behind schedule :(

Some updates

Tray for the battery & electrical. Tacked in, just need to finalize and weld it it.

Decided to go another direction with the voltmeter. Ended using a small digital type in a piece of machined aluminum (pressed into triple tree). Not the best pic, but gives you an idea of what it'll look like.

Starting to mock things up.

Will need to increase the diameter of the stop bushing... headlight brackets hit :(

Much more to do :)

Will there be any clearance issues with the drive chain? On some stock framed race bikes we need to clearance the inside of the frame just a bit. On others we need to do nothing. On one of mine the two pins from the master link just kiss the side of the frame. Just enough to hear when pushing the bike around. Not enough to have to make more room. It doesn't even leave marks on the pins.

You're spot on. The chain will hit on the bottom, saw it when I put the swing arm on. Should be able to modify & reinforce the frame. Thanks again for your comments. Really appreciate it.

Looks like about 40deg today, so plan on hauling out the buffing wheel. Not my favorite job :-? :( , but the covers really need it :)

Make sure you check it at full swingarm movement too. Both extended and compressed. And allow for some chain slop. You probably know all this but I'm just throwing it out there. ;)

Thanks guys

" I've seen your shop, immaculate."
Not immaculate, but I like to keep it clean... sometimes.

Not much to update. Been tinkering with wiring, and mocked up the tach/speedo mount. Scott has the triple tree w/clamp for welding. Hope to have it back in a week or so (no rush).
