I got these powder coated early last year for my 1800. The rocker covers were bad looking, and the rack was pitted and rusty.
Maybe I will go down this road if my polishing does not work out.

Fitted the radiator and new hoses and clamps. Filled the system with water to check for leaks.

Press the water system up a little - around 10 - 15 psi. I like to start with air so if I have to patch a radiator (had to on the Hunley), there is no water to deal with when soldering. Love the polished water tubes - I do the same. They shine up real nice.

Good idea on the pressurising. Will have a look for some apparatus to do that.
You are a braver man than me to have a go at patching a radiator.
Those tubes are only painted, and my apologies my photos are not so clear.

Dismantled the front end to fit headlight ears, the guts of the headlight and the reflectors. I got the headlight ears from Robin some time ago.

I am ready now to pipe up the front brakes and charge the system up.
Carbs will be ready to go back on too after I polish up the carb tops.

Got the new front brake pipes fitted. New banjo bolts, and washers too.
Cleaned up the master cylinder, filled with fresh fluid and bled the system.

Got the carb innards all fixed up with some new seals. Spruced up and cleaned up a bit with some casual polishing.
