Saber Cycle had Felt Shaft Seals Made for Us

#1

Post by cfairweather »

I just installed a couple of the felt shaft rings in a set of GL1000 carbs and I am happy to report they fit just right. I got these from Saber Cycle after I asked Diane if she could have some made to support the GL1000 community. I was impressed that she came through on my request. I know this cost her a bundle because I checked into having some made myself and the minimum order was several thousand dollars. She is selling these for less than half of what another place sells these. I don't work for Saber Cycle.

Diane Contacted us probably 6 or 8 years ago and stated that she had been really concentrating on improving their Customer Service. Don't think I have heard from her since but good to see some positive reviews.

But note I still have serious reservations about their in house manufacturing sold under the Barracuda banner. Not recently but in the past I have seen some of those products and they were very typical substandard Chinese crap. I do not know if any of that has been improved. Proceed with caution.
