The GL 1100 swing arm taper roller bearings.....The Genuine parts are OUTRAGEOUS money !!! Honda Part Number..91121-PH8-961..... CMSNL ( http://www.cmsnl.com/products/rbrg-tap- ... 121ph8961/ ) This company want 50 Euros..EACH.. Plus tax plus shipping...David Silver Spares want 25 Pounds EACH for the bearing Plus tax and shipping....BUT ...after a lot of research the bearing is actually a > 30203<. This is one of the most common Taper roller bearings !!!!!....on Ebay they sel for as little as 1.57 pounds...but they are probabaly a Chinese brand. From an Agricultural Dealer here in France I have got a PAIR for 14 Euros !! That is probably 10 % of the price of CMSNL.
So do NOT buy Honda packaged swing arm bearings.

Not all micro-fiche sites are equal. I like Babbitsonline (Muskegon, MI) because they list stuff like Honda part numbers, generic bearing numbers, and seal sizes in the parts description. Bearings numbers were standardized years ago so a 30203 or 6004 from NTN is the same as a Timken or anybody elses. Five digit numbers are tapered roller bearings and 4 digits are ball bearings. Suffixes to the numbers may indicate seals, shields, and/or the type of lube used. The info isn't as useful for seals because the cross-section of the lip isn't described.

Greg, would you happen to have a link to Babbits in Muskegon?

All I can find is Babbit Bearings at Obbco in Texas.

I'd love to add this info to the Crossover List (for us crossover junkies :-) ).
