I'm doing some final route planning. Will be running interstate to Cincinnati and pick up 32 East and work my way from there. Gonna be a long day.

I would love to have come and joined all the old (yeah, that the truth! :-D ) crew for the festivities. :-?

I did, fleetingly, think of asking maybe to borrow a bike and do it ( or even ride bitch) but......
Checked the flights........hmmm.........
Best price, with bag etc charges, £1700 / $2010, 7 1/2 hours to Pearson, 13 hours stop-over, and another 1 1/2 to Columbus.
None of that is going to happen I'm afraid, I doubt I could sit in an aircraft seat for 7 1/2 hours for a start.

So have fun everyone! I will be thinking of you.

changed the rear wheel on the 79 to the OEM from a lester. The whitewall tire on the lester wheel was dated 2013, so I guess that is about how long ago I worked on it. Rear brake was all gunked up so changed that out to. Hopefully it will start.

Expecting to depart for Marietta within 30 minutes, driving down in a cage as I plan to sell the LTD this week and want to ensure a ride home.

looked at the tires on my trailer.... yuck. Had to use an air impact driver to get the lug nuts loose. One wheel is at the shop for a new tire, the other was replaced with the spare. I guess 7 years of hauling motorcycles back and forth to Oklahoma took its toll.

Last week we had the two 10 yo grandsons. Took them camping with the TT and found a bolt in one tire so had to change it out in the campground.
