So glad to hear from you brother Claude. Somehow I know how devastating your loss of a great wife and person Pauline. We too will miss her. Sure would be great to see you in September, and not just because we love to stare at your 1100.

And OH Look, today is National Margaritas Day. I raise a toast to Pauline.

Would very much like to attend this ride but like 2020 I would not be surprised if our Canada/USA border is still closed.
Every eastern ride that I've attended I've had a terrific time. West Virginia was amazing. Pennsylvania, Isle of Man(itoulin) and Thousand Islands were all great riding and even better people.
So count me in unless our border is still closed.

Brian, it will be good to see you again. Hopefully the border will be open.
Did you ever get cruise control installed on the 85?

Pretty sure things will be mostly normal by September. Out walking the dogs and saw all the Teachers going back to work this morning. One lady I spoke with said the Kids come back in 2 weeks. One of our local Senior centers (big place with hundreds of residents) just accomplished 100% Vaccination. I had a visit with my Primary Doc last week and he put me on the list. He is expecting a shipment and says I should be done this Month.

It is not going to happen over night but I think by early summer things will really start to loosen up.

In the great state of Ohio, our governor is letting our hockey team have 2000 per game. And has hinted of 25% this fall at football games. So I don't see any big events this summer going on, at least not now.

Michigan said today that it is allowing those over 50 to get shots starting March 22 for those without special disposition. So looks like Pepper and I can be vaccinated by then for sure. Hope the rest of us can do the same but of course we will still have our masks.

Well, the wife and i just got our second shot this morning. Three grand daughters have had theirs (medical industry). One of my daughters and her husband are getting their first shot tomorrow, essential govt. contract workers in Maryland. Who knew that was a thing. That leaves two grandsons and my oldest daughter and her husband yet to be vaccinated. But, on March 24 NC is lowering the eligibility age to 45 with underlying medical conditions including anyone who has smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their lifetime, that gets them all except for my 19 year old non smoking grandson. Gradually its improving so yeah by September life should be returning to near normal.

We got our shots from our counties' public health. They've been holding mass drive through vaccinations at various locations around the county for the last month and a half. The guy I got my shot from today said that unlike when they first started they are not running out of vaccine on vaccination days but are running out of people to give the shots to. So they must be getting close to having everyone over 65 vaccinated.

Our host at the Li'l Abner hotel is getting nervous about how few hotel room reservations have been made. If you are intending to come in September, please consider making your room reservations. I am holding a block of rooms around the main parking area for NGW members.

Even if you have to cancel at the last minute, the room reservations are cancellable.

Thanks for your help.
