Who's interested in a West Coast Run?

#1

Post by x01660 »

I'm trying to gauge interest in a West Coast NGW sponsored get together. I've never done anything like this, but I know the roads around here, and there's some EXCEPTIONAL riding around my area. So here's the poll, and feel free to provide additional details of your desires for a run!! There are 3 categories, so pick an answer from each!

FYI, I live in Ventura, right off the 101 North at the Victoria St exit. Just so you can get an idea of where we'd be based.

apparently I have to post for my vote to count. Hats off to you for considering hosting a run. I wouldn't be coming this year, hoping for a nice ride out west nest year for the big 6-0. As for a run, you wont make everybody happy. Just throw out a lot of options and let people pick what they want to do. Salute !

I'm sure interested, but gauging by the response, the original observation is true; there's not a lot of interest "out here". I know it's a drag running across the Mojave Desert in July, but I'd sure do it again for the reward of a few days of riding the coast!

I thought the reason for three ralleys was to have them closer to where the people were that wanted to attend one. And if I lived in Ca., Oregon., Arizona, Ca. would be a no brainer. But a 4 day ride, for a three day ralley??? But then, I have lived in Ca. North and south. And some of the riding is awesome. We have members on the west coast, but don't recall ever seeing one at the central, or eastern rally. (I might be wrong }. If no one wants to come to your Ca. get together, come East to one of the other ones lolol lolol lolol lolol

Maybe a few of us could meet up, and entice the rest!

I'm in Ventura, and I'm willing to ride north or south, to make things easier.

Who else is in CA, OR, and WA that wants to meet up?

Anyone?

Where my So/Cen/NorCal boys and girls at?!?

hey, if we're talking later in summer when it starts to cool off a little bit I'm totally down for a trip down 101/Hwy1 to get to maybe the Bay area (unless that's too far North for everybody in SoCal).
then I don't mind screamin' back up the 5 tarmac to get home.

btw, I'll be back in L.A. for work (no bike) in June-ish, I'll give ya a shout.
