I can do cold but unless I am really pushed I do not do wet and cold. I punched in various cities along the route and looked at the 10 day forecast for each. Definitely a variety of conditions. Going for a week you have to expect to cross at least one weather front so it could be a couple hours or a day lost depending on the timing and such.

I just hope not to do a run like Cincinnati last year! That was a bit much.

Not just Flag. Pretty much the entire northern half of the state is either forested or high desert. Cold as heck until about nowish as it’s all 7000ft+.

Yea I been watching. Actually looks like a calm period while I will be out that way according to the long range forecasts. Some windy days but no big storm fronts expected after this one for a while. Knock on wood and fingers crossed!!
