Had an awesome lunch with Brother Rat today and we discussed the Paris swap weekend. We have come up with a loose schedule for the weekend, so here is what we have so far.
Thursday: Breakfast at Angels on Hespeler Rd. (near the Best Western) at 9am. Leave Angels for a ride through the countryside with stops at points of interest and/or snacks/lunch . The ride would be approx. 100 miles or 160 kilometers. after the ride we would meet back at my place for a bs session and BBQ (dogs and burgers)
Friday: Breakfast then to Paris to set up the swap site. if you are pre-registered the gates open at 9am. We plan to be there around 10am. General public allowed to enter at noon. Dinner is not set in stone yet, but there is an awesome rib joint in Paris. There is also racing on Friday night at the speedway beside the fairgrounds that run flat track and speedway bikes. Racing starts at 8pm
Saturday: all day at the swap with tear down of our site around 4pm. Dinner has yet to be decided, but it will be meat of some sort.
Sunday: Oldboy has graciously offered to give a guided tour of Legendary Motorcars in Milton, meeting there at approx: 10am (subject to change) After the tour, members are free to do as you please as this will conclude our weekend!
Hope this meets with everyones approval and I am sure a good time will be had by all!
See you in Paris!!!
I like it. Seems a bit "organized" for a layed back weekend, but sounds like a lot of fun,...and someone else thought it up, so I don't have to think a lot about what and when

Sorry to say, but I need to back out of this ride. I was really looking forward to it, but a last minute work obligation is going to keep me from making the trip. Hope all have a great time.
