Marilyn and I have been running from the rain since we left Wildbills.

We had been successful until we crossed back into Canada.

We managed to get between cells until later this afternoon.

Finally rain won. We are held up in Cambridge and hopefully a dry ride home tomorrow.

Great time had. Nice to meet everyone.

Even the Non Vegan kind LOL. lolol lolol lolol

Last leg done, back home from Alwing's (kinda side trip..)

Put the bike in the shop to have a nap, and taking the cage to treat my wife to a dinner out for putting up with this stuff (which she don't really mind so much).

Pleasure to meet up with Mr and Mrs Alarmdoc, nice folks and great ride. Still stings that Cyborg could not make it...would of been real fun me thinks...

Terrie and I are still in the Black Hills although we relocated from Wild Bills today. We have just suffered through our third hail storm since arriving here on the 13th. Thankfully no damage although the hail was pretty big this time. This must be the hail capital of the world.

A minor observation, we had a group ride through Custer State park during the rally and only saw one bull bison and a single antelope, since everyone bailed to go home last Saturday I found out through talking with the locals that it takes about two weeks for the animals to return to where they can be seen from the road after the Sturgis Bike rally. Terrie and I rode through Custer yesterday and saw two large herds of bison, many antelope, a bunch of burros, donkey, mules whatever they are, shutting down traffic by sticking their heads in the windows of cars begging for food, a whole bunch of Big Horn Sheep although no males, wild turkeys as well as two very large bull bison all by themselves not too far from where we say the one that HOTT posted about.

Maybe for wildlife viewing the next Deadwood rally should be two weeks after Sturgis instead of the week after.
