All within easy day riding from Deadwood: Mount Rushmore, Needles Highway, Pigs tail, Crazy Horse and countless Museums and memorials...
I'm gonna try'n go this year. I'd like to see the progress they've made on Crazy Horse in 20 years since I've been there. and yes, Mt. Rushmore and Devils Tower are always an excellent stop.

Been working on my routes for this trip, we'll be in the RV and trailering the bikes. The wife and I rode to the Black Hills in September of 2006, it was Terrie's first long trip on her trike. We spent three days in the Rapid City area and we've always wanted to get back, now's the time.

Turns out good friends of ours who have gone to living full time in an RV will be work-camping in Spearfish while were out there. It will be good to catch up. After the rally we'll be heading to Glacier NP. I plan on wearing out the bike tires on Going to the Sun road :). On the way back we'll take a leisurely tour along the northern tier of states, probably just drive route 2, into the UP of Michigan and then south across the bridge to Monroe to visit family for a couple of days then back to Raleigh.

Stop by for a cup of coffee in the morning and maybe we can fire up the grill in the evening if I can find a volunteer to drive it.............Oldewing?
