sadly I remember the wonderful days of the double nickel (and two kids in the sidecar). You would drive 10 hours and barely cover 400 miles

When I was younger, I often traveled right seat between NC and MA in 18-wheelers running for my Dad's company. (Visits to Mom in NC). Learned enough of that life to know it wasn't for me. Anyway, one of the drivers would come up on a slow moving vehicle (55'ish) and frequently complain about them saying, "D**n Nixon lover!"

And my favorite Summer riding t-shirt (2nd, wore out original) is from a little place down in Cabo San Lucas:
