Yeah, long time no see Steve. Cages allowed. You just have to walk a ways to get to the spot. It is a lot of walking to see the swap meet too. A good time though for old bike stuff.

Or borrow a buddies rented golf cart. ;)

You can rent golf carts while there but if you don't get them early they are all gone. And yes, lots of scooters and pitbikes running around.

Speaking of pitbikes and whatnot, are there rules concerning those? Like, do they have to be registered/insured to be used? Reason being, my 90 isn't even titled, and I haven't found anything online concerning them.

Not sure about the rules,...but I have seen a lot of small pit bikes running around there that had no plates,...some without lights or mufflers

My brother and I are trying to work the Mid-Ohio Vintage days into our annual 9-day ride this year. He probably won't fly in to Cincinnati until July 6, so won't make the great cookout. We will stop by the booth and spend some time on Friday or Saturday, depending on the final schedule. Will be good to see the group.

I'll probably have the LTD there. Will either be at the NGW spot or at my buddies at the top of the hill. If not at NGW those guys can point you to the right spot.

Weather determines which day I usually go. Friday or Saturday.

I'm planning my rides for the summer and this intrigues me. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with what the event is or where everyone is staying. Is there a link or can someone post more information about this event?

http://www.amavintagemotorcycledays.com/ The event is at the Mid Ohio sports car complex. Vintage motorcycle racing all weekend and one of the biggest motorcycle swap meets I have seen. Accommodations can be tricky. Several of us stay with Oldewing's in Gahanna and commute about an hour back and forth to the track. There are numerous hotels and such in the area. Thursday night we typically do a Brat's cookout at Oldewings and then setup at the swap meet Friday and spend the day at the track. All day Saturday there and usually until early to mid afternoon Sunday.

I would guess if you don't already have a hotel now it's probably too late to get one very close.
