I made it home (683 miles) 12 hours and 10 minutes. The ankle is doing better thanks to a lot of Tylenol and Ibuprofen.
Glad to have met and made new friends with so many, hope to see everybody again. Oh, can't forget the OLD friends, had a good time.... Until I messed up my ankle.....
Thanks Beth and Rodger for a GREAT event.

I don't know if I was flying HI or flying low with all the drugs I was taken. Anyway I made it home in one piece.

Robin and I made it to our first night's stop, Fairview Heights, IL. (East St Louis suburb). Many thanks to Al and John for the guide service! Tomorrow's leg should get us to relatives in northern Illinois, then (hopefully) an early and easy couple of hours ride home!

Home last night after another day's perfect riding. The whole week was just that - perfect. Thanks to all who made it that way. The 1100 in the Turtle is still going strong, tipped another quart in it halfway home, can't seem to break it! Although you don't wanna be following it, eh HOTT! Put in just shy of 1200 miles over the 4 days, reckon it would even make it to Canada...

Cheers

I have a few more pics of us eating to post. Seems we do a lot of that. . . Home safe last night, but the Guzzi still wants to go faster than the DMV thinks prudent. I wish I could have packed up some twisties for around here.

Yes, we made it, with just a little diversion before the last 8 miles to home! 1575.2 total miles! I'd do it again in a minute. Well, maybe a few days... lol! Thanks to all who contributed, and worked to make it a great first rally for us! Off to bed for this guy...
