Out of this list, so far, I've personally met and shook hands with a great group of fellow NGW Club members.
They are Ascot, RAT, CYBORG, Sandy, and bsteubing. tumb2 All of them, In Canada....at the Paris Fairgrounds CVMG Rally. 240 miles each way, from my house. I'm amazed that this ride, for me, to yet another Canadian event is only 105 miles!
So far, I haven't seen 2 others I've previously met in Canada on this list; millwright and 82aspy! But, there's still 6 months left. anyway.....
Sadly, I missed meeting Fred Camper at the 2015 Paris Rally.
Looks as though that first time meeting with Jeff will be accomplished, this time around. ;)

David is a gracious gentleman. Since the deluxe cabins cost more than local hotels, we opted for Quality Inn some 8 minutes away from the KOA. About $100 per night US, or about 120 Canadian. David provided a full refund which is better than posted policy. Pepper will have her own bathroom and will thus be happier. Agree with Gordon about Redwood and Doc. They will leave a hole but others may try and fill that in.

glad we will be missed... REALLY wish the hospital would hire the people I need to run the program... still thinking.... if I am on the road and she delivers... I told you we have to have faculty

I am not trying to be political, and if the moderators wish to delete, go ahead. Interesting news from the match.... Family practice had over 3500 positions with only 141 unfilled slots (very good news!). However FP was only about 11% of the total positions. Specialists, ER and surgery still dominates our medical system, not primary care, despite the deficit in primary care. Currently we still have a dual system of MD's and DO's (I am a DO), however our program has filled all 8 slots for next year so I will be "herding cats".

I'm disappointed that Redwood and Doc most likely won't be attending, after all.

GRRR! My vacation request for this is 'in limbo' right now, as my company is short on relief drivers, and another driver requested 3 weeks off for a hunting trip to Alaska. He told my boss "I'm going whether you have it covered or not..." I don't know why it's so hard to find people to work a 'split' 8 hour shift (that covers 14 hours) in the middle of the night, lol! So, I'll have to be downgraded to the 'maybe' list, I guess...

In The Shed:

Well, with some luck, a following wind and any other plans for this year not screwing me up, there is just a chance of me giving you enormous pleasure again, Cliff.
This year was not planned to come over, but time rattles on and at 69 years old you never know what's around the corner (just ask Doug about that one!). So I'm trying to do it, but I would have to come a couple of weeks earlier to get the engine out and fix an oil leak then get some riding in to test it. It could be a pretty much last minute decision.
