me too!!

dude (sandy i think) from barrie also, rides a yellow original, lesters, sidecars etc, he swung by at the end of the day, he was telling me about the original polished lesters that came out at the end

cyborg & rat were telling me rain started 10 minutes into their trip here then ...aaall the way in, i think that's 3 of us with that "oddball" 84

looks like this post explains the prime spot, this year & last

I would also like to thank the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group for allowing us to fly our club banner and for the prime spot for our booth! They made us most welcome and could not have been any more helpful in meeting any of our needs or requests!
heard the weather today @ 40c with humidex, all i heard for yesterday was 30c + humidex, but hotter today

Y'all know, now that the thrill of yet another, far better this 2cd time, epic trip to the Paris, Ontario Canadian NGW Club Mecca has sorta settled down in my head, I can process I had really wanted to look at every members' GL and experience the uniqueness of each one. But, time limitations didn't allow me to experience such an endeavor. I thoroughly enjoyed the group ride to Varey 's, and at the BBQ they provided, chatting with Sandy about our 1000 trikes, Rick about his 1100 custom, and various things with Pete and Gord, too. Doug, holding down the Club tent instead of the Trillium ride was great fun to see again this year. Maybe next year we can ride together for a while?
What troubles me, though, is that I shook hands with several unbeknownst to me Club members under the Club tent, got their actual formal street names, but never connected those names and faces with their individual Forum ID names.

For example I met Bruce. I thought he might be bstuebing. I inquired if he was. No, he wasn't. But, I never found out before I left the Fairgrounds! (if I hadn't headed for my home without clearly expressing my intent to the group, I may have gained that knowledge later in the day. I felt really bad that Ascot Pete had texted me wanting to know where I was for dinner. I'd already crossed the border into the US when I read his inquiry on my cell phone. )
I also met another member whose name I can't presently remember. Just like all the NGW Club members I do know, I would like to know who they are, too. Putting a real face and name to a Forum name is the intent of my, as usually typical, rambling request? I feel so welcome into the NGW Club group in Paris, ON, that if I were a cat, I'd be loudly purring.
82 aspy, are you actually Bruce?
bstuebing, are you the younger fellow dressed in black duds and bandana whose name I can't presently remember?
Finally, I'm humbled for trike and I to have been referred to as legendary. Cliff is only Cliff. Trike is only great fun for me to enjoy whiling away time and traveling increasingly greater distances when the weather is agreeable to my old bones.
Who woulda thunk it would unknowingly become a passion to add to my list of life experiences I've accomplished over almost 49 years after I busted my head punkin'.

Pete! My greatly appreciated friend. Group photo?

OK, I'm done. tumb2

Great to see everyone at the NGW display.
I didn't spend as much time with the group as I would have liked but I was involved with the CVMG rally as well.
The Trillium Reliability Run is always the highlight for me.
This year the oldest bike and the oldest rider on the run was 1927 Nimbus and 84 yo Ed O.
Great to see.
Hope this can become an annual CVMG / NGW gathering.
Oh ya.... quess who won the Concours Modern Classic division on Sunday.

You needed to do one of these!!

If only I would have thought to put my little digital camera in my shirt pocket, we could have easily video captured our group introductions for posterity sake, as well!

Thank you for identifying John (82aspy) and Brian(bstuebing) for me, Pete!
Now, I will hopefully recognize everybody by their correct first name, the next time I'm in Paris. ;)

let's not forget, cyborg & rat (2 cartel vet dudes who missed the 'smile' cue in the above shot) had ~ 8 hrs of solid nonstop rain coming in action1

managed to snag that elusive (always takin' the pix, tons of background work etc) canuck (mustard original, spocked wheel ride) ringleader, organizer bar none here (red cap Pete (Ascot)
