Made it to Wytheville tonight. Great ride on all back roads - no highway. Weather was dry, but overcast and a bit chilly. The day started out at 46 degrees and heavy fog. Hoping for a little nicer day tomorrow.

Off season and middle of the week is a great time to ride there. Also want to make sure it is before the leaves start dropping. I made that mistake once. wet leaves on the road are very slippery!!!

Terrie and I made it home at 5:30pm. Riding the Cherohala this morning first thing was terrific. Since Paul already left there was absolutely no fog mist or anything else to mar the beautiful views.

Still unpacking BTW.
