Looking good.
Ive been away 4 a month.
In that time I found my digital gauge is barely visible in sunshine. So, I have moved on to analog gauges from stewart warner.

Hi 77GoWing,

I'm sure we can adapt the model for the SW meters as well. I just need careful measurements of their dimensions and the dimensions and locations of the threaded rods (is that proper English?) underneath to determine how to mount them.

I measured the location of the rods using calipers: measured the distance between them internally and externally, and also to the top and bottom of the meter itself. That was close enough...

A little teaser:

Ksander, your English is perfect.
I will measure the dimensions in the next couple of days. Then make two cardboard templates using what is known as the Joe Frogger method, for fitting tile. It will work beautifully and then I can mail the template to you showing threaded rod spacing and clearances relative to the gauge diameter. The lighting hole will also be mocked up.
I'll mark each template for top facing awat from bottom of gauge and shoot a couple of pics.

Once this is done I will need your address for mailing.

I dont do CAD, so this will have to do.
Though I will try and download an app and perhaps get lucky & then email them to you.

Btw my NGW name change did not go through. So, it is still 77Gowing.

Kenny.
