What type of handlebars do you have?
I have the stock Interstate on mine but it came with Renthal bars and I am tempted to refit them.
Show some pics if you can and any issues around cable length or routing?
Thanks...

Re: What type of handlebars do you have?
My '78 came with the stock bars that cause serious pain between my shoulder blades. Since I was customizing it anyway, I put on "Euro" bars with a much different rise and pull back. So far I have been very pleased. Throttle cables and brake lines fit Ok (I replaced the upper brake line due to it being soft). The clutch cable is awkward to fit in. Not because of length, but because of the angle it come out of the perch. I may try to find one that brings the cable out at a different angle.

It must be difficult riding with those... two hundred seventy five inches wide?

Budget low for me: Emgo superbike bars in satin black. Ran new (significantly shorter) throttle cables and brake lines.

I prefer reproduction 1977 GL1000 bars.
They seem to fit me perfectly.

Re: What type of handlebars do you have?
I should probably add that the short bars were largely a comfort choice. I’m very happy with how they look, but I went low because I’m 6’5” tall. Needed the reach. We’re I a shorter dude, I’d probably have gone for something a bit higher. (I agree with Sandy about the looks of the 77 OE)
