GL1000 Seat on GL1200

I searched the forum for over an hour and didn't see it. Several threads about interchanging a GL1000 - GL1100 seats but nothing on fitting a GL1000 seat onto a GL1200. Anything can be made to work with enough time/money. But can it be made to work without basically building a new seat pan?

I don't think so. The seats mount differently, and are a different shape. Not impossible, but not cheap

I( kind know where your coming from. I have both a 1000 and a 1200,...and I prefer the 1000 seat

Yep, had a 1000 (and 1100) many moons ago. The 1200 seat is 'nice' but it's not a 1000.
