Skid Plates for GL1000

#1

Post by x01660 »

I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out;

I'm gonna mount dual sport tires on my GL to make it a fat pig of a scrambler. Mostly so I can ride on gravel roads.

Does anyone have any experience with metal fabbing? How difficult do you think it would be to make skid plates for the whole underside of the bike, including the heads?

Thanks!
