I just love watching this thread, and all the variations you come up with. Many great ideas and out of the box thinking!

I also love all the ideas. But, as a long time engineer, I have often heard this saying:

"Sometimes, it's best to just shoot the engineer and get on with production."

Surely, I'm joking, but at some point, you're going to want to narrow your vision. The ideas are wide-ranging and that makes settling on a direction more difficult. I will agree that the last image above (weathered green diamond plate) looks really good. Go that way and use the modified cylinder fuel tank you posted a few pages back and I think you'd have a really sharp custom on your hands.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have the dateline, back-calculated I will shoot the engineer in february. Up to this point, I like to work according to the motto, as much as possible to consider and reject. At the end, one variant makes the race. By the way, the colors in the variants are chosen coincidentally, I'm not brave enough, in the end it will be black, silver and gray anyway.

It's great to follow your project. Hopefully it gives me the strength to finish my own. I will put a few pictures here to see how small differences in color and shape make a big difference to the result. I actually took the motorcycle before it was ready and that was mistake. I do not even have much left when it's done. I want to make a new bigger tank cover and shape the saddle again and completely remove the rear fender and, of course, paint it blue.

Thanks for the photos. They are always inspiring for me and I always come up with new ideas. Is the Buli tank a photoshop? And what tank is the current in the last photo?

Buli tank is made in photoshop i only did extend the the tank about 4 cm down but it is same as black. i used Z1300 kawasaki tank as a mold.
