One small issue the temp gauge reads 40 * and it seems to be C* NOT F* higher than it should guy said he could find a gauge that read correctly??? It was an 81 GL1100

Interesting look. Several things that aren't really my style, but looks to be well done, over all. The scoops on the carbs gotta go, though, lol!

That frame is butt ugly, the seat doesn't flow with the tank and fender but that thing is cool. I'd buy it.

I like it! (big surprise) Might I change some things? Of course.
Won't guess what you paid, (cause I'm lousy at that) but there has
been some some solid work done there. Good Find tumb2

Really interested in that fuel set up.

Looks like it was raked out like HOTT's bike.

DUH..on the c and f...Yes, slight rake not sure I like it..squirrely in full turns. I'll try and take some pics if the Weber setup. Carb scoops..my favorite part!!! He used one of the vacuum ports of the weber's to hook up the vacuum advance, bolted the throttle cable to the front engine shroud so the adjustment is after that, with a spring bolted to the frame and hooks to the throttle bar of the carbs to force return. Probably a Corbin style seat would look better but what can one do about the frame except maybe cover it up with tins??? Like to move that fuel in the thrid pic to the front and hide more of it so it's not so out there..

I really like the "dash" set up. Looks like a lot of work went into mounting the warning lights.
As for the engine and frame..strip it down and repaint them. :)

Some pics of the Weber setup. He definitely cut off stock intakes and then welded his intake boxes to them..I have moved the left fuel line around to the front..not a big deal wonder why he did it the way he did..now matches the other side. I pulled the tank cover off interesting gas tank design one piece but with a big "U" in the design to go around the top frame bar and then a line added to connect the two part of the tank at a low point for the front half. Guess I should take a picture of that too..by the way it's made of of 1/4" steel not going to rust thorough any time soon but probably a little heavier than it should be..alum would have been a much better choice.

So what's it worth as it sits?? Anyone hazard an opinion...

I like it! Fascinating blend of skill levels. I think the colors work.
I would find a way to extend the exhaust behind my head.
I will guess the PO started at $2500 and you gave him less than half of that.

Around here, that'd be in the $1500 range if running.

Looks like a fun project. I do agree about the frame color, however. That doesn't click with the red on the skins at all.

How does it run with the dual webbers? Do you smack your knee on the left side?
