This is what all those pieces in a previous post look like all welded together exhaustively ground(I told you I'm not much of a welder!) and mounted on the engine.

I have seen one or two of the rubber clamp covers but usually they haven't survived the forty years of maintenance these old bikes have been subjected to.

This is an attempt to show how very fragile the connections to these LED indicators are. My first attempt to build the panel ended with several of the wires broken.

You can see my somewhat crude solution to the brken off connections-a blob of silicone!. Also the second attempt went better with considerably less wrassling the whole thing around during assembly.

The final result. The stock ignition in the stock location protrudes thru the large hole, the small holes are for bolts that hold the panel to acouple or flat bar mounts that utilize the stock holes for the gauge cluster and also provide the upper mount for the front number plate. This pretty much concludes the electrical. The last test had all necessary features like headlight, signals, spark at the plugs and cranking when the start button was pressed. The 1100 fuse block, spark units and regulator rectifier mount to the right side of the shelter frame. I'm using aftermarket controls so the front section of the loom is changed with a lot of wiring finding it's way to "spare parts".

Panel looks good. I have a couple of the rubber covers in my "rubber stuff" drawer. But could not remember where they came from

Im not clear on how you mated the 1000 pumpkin to the 1100 driveshaft. Did you have to cut both sides off? Man you move fast!.

To mate a 1000 pumpkin to an 1100 driveshaft, you have to hold your mouth just right and think only good thoughts. Seriously you don't do anything different than installing an 1100 pumpkin, that part fits just fine. The 1000 final bolts to the 1100 swingarm and the driveshaft fits w/o mods. You have to lengthen the other side and change to shock mount. What you weld on the end of the lengthened swingarm is dictated by what rear caliper you use. On this one I used the 75 caliper on the Bopper I used an 1100 caliper which involves some spacer switching. I think Hott addressed that in one of his builds.
I don't know about "moving fast",seems like I've been working on this thing forever! When I've a project going I do little else because I don't HAVE to. I'm retarded(no job),single and have no obligations except eat and sleep.

No kidding.... All this time I've been assuming otherwise, which, in turn has held me back from putting spoked wheels on my 1100 project. Dang. Thanks captain Ron!
