Re: GL 1200 cafe (Te Racer) projekt.
Hey everybody. Apparently, now is the spring because I started servicing my bike again, compulsively. Last spring, the motorcycle had a problem with overheating because the radiator fan was broken. Soldering was oxidized and the fan did not always work. I repaired the fan but I wasn't quite happy with the repair. new found in CMSNL online shop but the price is about 450 € + shipping fee. I found a similar model in the chinese online store, with a price of € 60 including all charges. Manufacturer Part Number: 38616-PWA-J0. ( i think this is original HONDA part but not for GL 1200) But it wasn't exactly the same. So i needed to fix it. The collar around the bearing was larger than the original and the propeller did not fit so it need to cut smaller. Because the fan was a little bigger. About 6mm higher and wider. the mounting holes had to be enlarged. Fortunately, propeller mounting holes were on the right distance

The radiator and fan are painted and ready for use. I also made a new enrichment lever. I found an old fiberglass tent stick, which I used as a cable sleeve. As a cable i used 2 mm iron wire.

Re: GL 1200 cafe (Te Racer) projekt.
After struggling for a long time against laziness, I decided to paint my bike. I bought a cheap spray gun (35 €) that seems to be good. I gonna paint with two colors and top with lacquer. It was about 30 years since I last painted it with a spray gun, so i dont know what to expect. here are a few pictures how it goes.
